Art thesis "Sex Bias"

เมื่อมนุษย์เกิดมาเป็นเพศหญิงแล้ว จะได้รับความคาดหวังให้ดำเนินชีวิตอย่างที่ถูกที่ควรที่ควร ตามแม่แบบจากรุ่นหนึ่งสู่รุ่นหนึ่ง ด้วยการก้าวซ้ำลงบนพื้นที่ทางเพศที่แสดงค่าความเป็นผู้หญิง เช่น ครัว มุ้ง เตียงนอน เปลเด็ก เป็นต้น สืบเนื่องจากการปลูกฝังความคิดทางจารีตประเพณีหนึ่ง ความเชื่อทางศาสนาหนึ่ง ข้อจำกัดทางกายและเพศหนึ่ง ราวกับว่าพวกเธอจะต้องยืนอยู่บนเงาของความงามสมบูรณ์แบบซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า
สิ่งเหล่านี้ได้หล่อหลอมตัวข้าพเจ้าให้ตระหนัก ว่าแท้จริงแล้วผู้หญิงเกิดเพื่อทำหน้าที่พื้นฐานดังกล่าวเท่านั้นหรือ หรือพวกเธอจะต้องสวมใส่เครื่องแบบที่แสดงภาพลักษณ์ความเป็นผู้หญิงไว้ เพื่ออำพรางไม่ให้พวกเธอแสดงตัวเกินเส้นแบ่งทางสังคม ระหว่างชาย หญิง
ดังนี้การนำเสนอศิลปนิพนธ์ชุด “อคติทางเพศ” อาจเป็นเพียงเสียง บอกเล่าความเป็นไปที่เกิดขึ้นในโลกที่ผู้หญิงยังถูกกำหนดสถานะ และเพื่อเป็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงมุมมองบางอย่างในสังคมที่มีต่อเพศหญิงให้เป็นไปในทิศทางที่ดีขึ้น
Once a human is born as a female, she is expected to live as properly and circumspectly as culture allow, performing the traditional duties assigned to women. According to cultural traditional, religious belief and sexual restriction, women likely to remain in the shadow of mail domination.
Those cultural traits make me wonder whether women were really born to do only fundamental duties or they are supposed to wear the uniform portraying her female image, impeding them from stepping over the social normality between men and women.
Therefore, the presentation of the art thesis called “Sexual Prejudice” is probably of the situation in Thai society, where women’s status has been defined by men. It is Also, it is to encourage the change in social perspectives about women and traditional role in society.
